The imposing Norman Amphitheatre, with its 800 square meters of arena to host 400 people in the stalls and 1500 on the bleachers, is a unique setting for concerts and live events. It guarantees perfect acoustics and an atmosphere unparalleled, thanks to the natural scenery of the hills of Giovi, the olive trees that surround it and the spectacular lighting in the evening.
Tenuta dei Normanni has always hosted and promoted cultural events, offering quality shows, also in partnership with organizations, associations and entities engaged in social work and promotion of culture, art and tourism in Salerno and Campania.

In Summer 2020 and 2021, every Wednesday, from July to September, the amphitheatre was the setting for the ‘Festival of the Mediterranean Hills’, promoted by the cultural association Do.po. It was born to pay homage to Domenico Postiglione, founder and architect of the estate, to whom was also dedicated the ‘Norman Prize’.
Wonderful evenings were dedicated to theatre, museums, books, poetry and debates that hosted guests as the writer Diego De Silva and the journalist Michele Santoro. There were also great music shows like that of the chorus from the Teatro Verdi, the tribute to Pino Daniele by Mimì Caravano dei ‘Neri per Caso’, the performance of Dario Sansone by Foja and the concert ‘MusicAccanto’ by Matteo Saggese with the ironic and overwhelming Peppe Servillo, the
wonderful voice of Fausta Vetere, guitarists Phil Palmer and Mauro Di Domenico and many other illustrious artists.

Furthermore, the audience really appreciated the show ‘Soundtrack of my life’ by Andrea Scanzi, accompanied by the ‘Bocephus King Band’ and the overwhelming ‘Taranta and Blues’ by Mauro Durante, leader of the popular music group Canzoniere ‘Grecanico Salentino’ and Justin Adams, English guitarist playing African rhythms and jazz/blues. The evening dedicated to the magnificent tango of Astor Piazzola was much engaging with soloists and dancers from the San Carlo theatre in Naples.

It is worthwhile to mention the concerts of the ‘Campania Blues Festival’, during the seasons 2017/2018, with great international guests such as the great bluesman Chris Cain, the jazz guitarist Guy King, accompanied by Luca Giordano and his band, the irresistible Canadian duo ‘Blue Moon Marquee’, the fantastic ‘Musica Nuda’ (Petra Magoni – vocals and Ferruccio Spinetti- double bass) and Tony Momrelle, extraordinary voice of the famous band ‘Incognito’.

In 2017, the Amphitheatre was the setting for the interesting event ‘Mediterranean Meetings’ and the event of culture, music and solidarity ‘Always Beautiful’, special guest Marina Ripa di Meana, and the concert of Piera Lombardi; while, in 2015, it had the privilege of hosting an evening dedicated to the Archaeological Museum of Paestum with the participation of Vittorio Sgarbi and Peppe Barra.
